Oklahoma State snapped its 12-game losing streak and 21-game losing streak against FBS opponents. They defeated #6 Oregon today 39-31 at Boone Pickens Stadium. The Cowboys dominated in the air and on the ground with 554 yards compared to the Ducks 281. Drew Mestemaker, the redshirt sophomore, completed 26/43 pass attempts with 2 interceptions. On the other side Dante Moore completed 14/29 pass attempts for 191 yards. Dante Moore was on our Top 10 players to watch for this season and he put up a stinker today.

Last week we saw Oregon struggle against Boise st. However they performed better in that game with almost 500 total yards coming away with the win 34-27. In my opinion this is really concerning for Oregon. If they had lost to Boise State last week, it would have been easier to write off as a fluke. Oregon dominated on both sides of the ball but struggled to capitalize on its opportunities. Which is understandable in the first week. The Cowboys win tonight was anything but a fluke though. Oklahoma st out-possessed the Ducks by nearly 13 min, had double total yards as them, and twice as many first downs as well. Performing like that against a team who had the longest losing streak in the FBS is downright embarrassing. The 50,000 fans in Stillwater deserved to storm the field today.
