Drama in Oxford Ole Miss vs. LSU

Lane Kiffin returns with LSU to Hemingway stadium Saturday night and we’re expecting nothing less than war. On Wednesday Lane Kiffin listed Sam Leavitt as doubtful to play against Ole Miss and fooled absolutely no one. Social media was flooded with posts trolling Kiffin for trying to get away with it and now Leavitt is completely off the injury list in surprise to no one.

Pete Golding said on The Pat McAfee Show that he received a text from Kiffin on Wednesday saying “Hey, our quarterback’s out” and Golding responded with “Yeah buddy, I bet he is. I’ve been around here a lot of Wednesdays with you, man, for three and a half years.” No one on the Ole Miss coaching staff was convinced that Leavitt wasn’t going to play on Saturday.

There isn’t just going to a war on the field but Oxford is preparing for the worst throughout the city. “Mississippi is assembling the state’s largest law enforcement presence ever for a college football game this weekend,” according to AP News. Law enforcement aren’t waiting till Saturday to start making arrests either.

Ole Miss student Hudson Geoffroy was arrested for his vulgar bed-sheet banner targeting Lane Kiffin’s daughter Landry. He isn’t the only one with these bed-sheet banners either. Oxford is full of them slandering Lane Kiffin and his family.

To say the least Hemingway stadium is not going to take it easy on LSU. The only thing I want for Saturday night is an Ole Miss win. I don’t think anyone can respect what Lane Kiffin did to the Ole Miss organization and the city of Oxford. 7:30 p.m ET the guys of Shot Clock Sports will be hate watching LSU football once again.
